The Icelandic Language Technology Dashboard (MÍMT) consolidates the results of international benchmark evaluations, offering a clear overview of how leading language models perform across a range of tasks, including reading comprehension and reasoning.
Designed with simplicity and usability at its core, the dashboard provides a trusted, centralised source for exploring and comparing the capabilities of language models in Icelandic.
The logo combines a bar chart—symbolising data, measurement, and evaluation—with the shape of a heartbeat or sound wave. Together, these elements represent the dashboard's core purpose: measuring and benchmarking the performance of language models in Icelandic.
A single typeface was used throughout the website to create a clean and consistent visual identity. For charts and numerical data, a monospaced variant was chosen to improve readability and make values easier to scan.
The colour palette and visual language are closely aligned with the Árni Magnússon Institute's existing identity while establishing a distinct style of their own. The interface combines soft shades of grey with warm amber accents, creating a calm, approachable aesthetic that draws attention to key elements.
The project was delivered on a relatively short timeline in close collaboration with Árni Magnússon Institute and Almannaróm. Kolibri was responsible for the branding and website design, while the Árni Magnússon Institute handled the development, data preparation, and system integrations.
